What an honor: a clear night to view the 2015 Blood Moon full eclipse from the top of Montmartre, with the tower and angel of Sacre Coeur for context. This was just a 3-block walk up from my apartment on Lamarck in Montmartre at 3 a.m. and capped off my incredible two-week stay in Paris. Thanks to the photographer who let me borrow his tripod!

Sally Ross retired from the University of Georgia Department of Language and Literacy, after many wonderful years of working with Georgia English teachers.
