Luxembourg Gardens were my favorite place in Paris, especially because of the lush green grass that you couldn’t walk on. This left marvelous perspectives to enjoy trees, gardens, dirt walkways, over 100 statues, and the amazingly comfortable, ubiquitous green metal chairs. Each corner, like this one, was inviting.

Sally Ross retired from the University of Georgia Department of Language and Literacy, after many wonderful years of working with Georgia English teachers. She now thrives on travel, hiking, golf, and photography, making Scotland the perfect destination for several months every summer.
