Five a.m. I wish I had gotten up this early more often to enjoy sunrise from the Dornoch Firth Bridge, constructed in 1990. What a spectacle! Feel the wind whipping in off the North Sea! Watch the morning come!

Sally Ross retired from the University of Georgia Department of Language and Literacy, after many wonderful years of working with Georgia English teachers.
