My favorite image from my entire South American journey. On our cruise around Cape Horn and through the Straits of Magellan, we were blessed with incredibly calm seas as you can see in the glassy serenity of this view. The endless islands, big and small, that dot this archipelago intrigued me. How many bits of land�actually the tops of Andes sunken under the sea�could there be here?
