These Black Cuillins include all 12 of the Munros on the Isle of Skye (e.g., Scottish mountains over 3000 ft.). The jagged peaks can be traversed, or appreciated as I saw them more calmly from the village of Elgol on the southeast coast of Skye.
About Sally Ross
Sally Ross retired from the University of Georgia Department of Language and Literacy, after many wonderful years of working with Georgia English teachers. She now thrives on travel, hiking, golf, and photography, making Scotland the perfect destination for several months every summer.
