Heather was still in bloom at Borgie Forest, a short walk located between Tongue and Bettyhill in the Northern Highlands at the very top of Scotland. I enjoyed a lovely respite along a salmon-filled river on this autumn day.
About Sally Ross
Sally Ross retired from the University of Georgia Department of Language and Literacy, after many wonderful years of working with Georgia English teachers. She now thrives on travel, hiking, golf, and photography, making Scotland the perfect destination for several months every summer.
